Liam has developed his own acting techniques inspired by his own journey as an actor and writer. He has found that every script and character possesses a unique set of challenges for the actor, so the more tools and influences one has, the better.
Liam has worked as a TV actor on BBC, ITV and Channel 4 productions, as well as shooting movies and working in theatres including The National and The Barbican. His love of theatre has led him to direct sell-out plays in London’s fringe, as well as student showcases at the Bush Theatre and The Gate Theatre in West London. Most recently he has been and working closely with international production company Black Dog Films with whom he has co-written and acted in a TV project screened at the London Short Film Festival 2020, the 2020 Manchester Film Festival, Kerry International Film Festival and The London Lift-off Film Festival.
Liam has frequently placed his students in work, including TV shows, plays and commercials. Many of his younger students have also gained entry to accredited drama schools such as RADA, The Drama Centre, Rose Bruford and The Bristol Old Vic.

I've been taping with Liam consistently for over four years now and we have gotten results, great results in fact. I work predominantly in the US and our tapes are always well received and a joy to execute. He has a good eye and easy manner creating a positive work environment with useful notes and tips. I could waffle on but the bottom line is if you are a results-based actor Liam will help get you there the rest is up to you.

I have always found that working towards auditions and on self tapes is done best as a collaborative process. It's important to find someone to work and record with, whose work ethic and artistic truth aligns with your own. This is why I've always enjoyed working with Liam.

I recently did a few online one to ones with Liam, and at first I wasn’t sure how it would work on zoom. We covered audition technique and self tapes, and actually I really loved doing the classes over zoom, I didn’t feel like it was a barrier at all - like I had first imagined. I felt like I learnt as much as I would have in class, in fact even more because it was a one on one session. Liam has great structure with the way he works and is always very clear about what he is teaching and his feedback, I absolutely love Liam’s style of teaching and I am always recommending it to my friends / people I meet. I have studied both theatre and screen with Liam and really enjoyed learning the different styles of acting with him, the tips and advice he has given me will be things I remember for the whole of my career.
